Exhibiting for the third successive year at the international paper fair, we are proposing an impressive international artists line-up with both our more established and emerging artists. Presenting the public with major pieces from very important Canadian artists such as Jean Paul Riopelle (1923-2002), Serge Lemoyne (1941-1998), Jean Paul Jérôme (1928-2004) and Edmund Alleyn (1931-2004), YL will present the best young contemporary art has to offer as well by showcasing the works of internationally-recognized roaster of artists both Canadian and international such as Other (Derek Mehaffey), Jonathan Bergeron, Jon Todd, Jason Botkin, Dave Cooper, Heidi Taillefer, Osvaldo Ramirez Castillo, Jean Labourdette, Reso (Patrick Jungfleisch) and Cope2.

HEY Modern Art at Halle St-Pierre Museum, Paris

I am off to Paris this evening… I will be working at the Halle St-Pierre Museum over the next couple of days to put together an installation piece I have been working on for the past month and a half… I will then attend the opening on September 15th… Check out the show if you can, the line-up is INSANE !!!

Exhibition at Musée de La Halle St-Pierre, Paris


As mentioned in the previous post I will be showing at the Musée de la Halle St-Pierre, in Paris.
The show will be starting on March 1st and will be up until the 21st. It will be Alex One, los Panos (chicano prison art) and myself.
There will be an event with a live-painting session by me and Alex One, as well as live tattooing by Easy Sacha on the 11, starting at 6:30 pm. The whole thing is organized for the launch of a new quarterly art publication called “Hey!”.
I have the cover and a nice 12 pages interview in the first issue. 144 pages and no ads. Issue #1 will be out on March 11th.

I had the wonderful surprise to come across Shawn Barber s new piece : this portrait of me that he did as a part of his tattooed portraits series. It was being shown at Joshua Liner s booth at Scope.

Upcoming Show


Sorry for the long absence of posts in the news/blog section as well as for not adding any new pieces to the website in a while… I have been working hard lately on a new series for my upcoming solo show at Fuse Gallery in NY in November (opening on the 3rd).
